Katie is an experienced policy and communications professional. Prior to joining MCE she spent 12 years in Brussels working in the European Parliament. She has worked across a wide range of policy issues from agriculture and environment to foreign affairs and has experience engaging at all levels of the political landscape.
In addition to her EU affairs expertise, she has worked in local and national elections both north and south of the border.
Katie has studied in Ireland, England, Poland and the US and has qualifications in Politics, Public Policy and Management.
On a voluntary basis Katie has led large scale projects in Brussels focusing on the Roma community, and spent time in Palestine working for an NGO. Katie also sits on the board of the Ashton Centre in North Belfast.
