Cate is a graduate from Queen’s University, achieving a 1.1 in her undergraduate Law degree, and has also completed her Master’s in Politics at Queen’s which included a dissertation on the effect of female leadership on Sinn Fein’s electoral success in Northern Ireland and the Republic of Ireland.

As part of her Law degree, she spent a semester studying Comparative European and International Law at the University of Trento in Italy.

Before joining MCE, Cate gained important experience in her work for Queen’s as a Student Digital Champion, creating her own podcast episodes around digital skills and employability for university students and educating students, staff and other relevant stakeholders on the best way to engage with students through digital tools.

At MCE Cate supports a wide range of our Strategic Communications and Public Affairs clients.

In her spare time, she enjoys listening to podcasts about politics, current affairs and history.
