Over the past few years, MCE has raised almost £6,000 for several charities, including Bowel Cancer UK, Save the Children, Storehouse Belfast, and Macmillan Cancer Support.
This year MCE’s charity partner is local mental health charity MindWise.
MindWise provides over 30 services across Northern Ireland, working alongside people at risk of and affected by mental health issues, their carers, and their families, as well as offering mental health training to employers, schools, and colleges across Northern Ireland.
Making a difference
At MCE we are committed to being a more responsible, engaged, and respectful business and making a difference to our community, our people, and the environment around us.
Through this partnership MCE is working towards educating and equipping our team with the tools to promote positive mental health, as well as financially supporting Mindwise’s work in Northern Ireland through various fundraising initiatives.
Belfast Marathon Relay
We are very proud that Team MCE is taking on the Belfast Marathon on Sunday 3 October to raise money for the Belfast Resource Centre.
Mindwise operates the Centre, which offers many opportunities for service users, including social and leisure activities, personal development, support to access training, education and employment, and community living skills.
MCE has entered two teams into the relay race, including representatives from our client TSA planning. We hope to reach our fundraising target of £5,000 by the end of 2021, and to date we have raised over £1,300.
Please support MCE’s fundraising efforts and help us reach our target for Mindwise and the Belfast Resource Centre.
